I made a mistake in uploading but I am unable to delete the comic. Anyone can fix that for me?

Back to this comic, Ditto is known as the breeding slave for most people. But have you ever wondered how that worked?

You're right. It doesn't make sense .-.

Reply Vye Brante, February 23rd, 2011, 4:12 pm

I deleted it. I has the power!! I guess.

As for the topic at hand . . . I don't know in a biological sense how they'd breed together. When I use my Ditto to breed, I just call it cloning instead of actual breeding. So in my cloning sense it works as you'd just be cloning Manaphy. (It just is a legendary not meant to be cloned so it doesn't turn out exactly right.)

But yeah . . . how it would breed . . . I don't know.

Thank you Vye.

I am guessing that Ditto's are like the love gods in the Pokemon world. Thus they can do anything sex related or birth related.

I think I found your answer. Though be warned, minors. you might not like it.

Reply locoroco1, February 23rd, 2011, 5:24 pm

Osmosis. Manaphy are 95% liquid. Ditto are 100% liquid.

Reply AkumaTh, February 23rd, 2011, 6:38 pm

@locoroco1 That doesn't explain the other pokemon though.

Reply Namm_killazilla, February 23rd, 2011, 7:31 pm

Obviously, the Ditto just takes the genes of its mate and then... and then...

... proceeds to screw reality.

Reply ZeroTornado, February 23rd, 2011, 7:50 pm

You just HAD to go there ur ruinin our minds

Reply locoroco1, February 23rd, 2011, 10:12 pm

In theory, the Ditto could turn into a genderless pokemon WITH reproductive organs. And make artificial ones for it's mate.

holy trombone on a pogo stick BROCK HAS OPENED HIS EYES!!!
that image in his head must have been truely terrifying in order for that to happen!

May i say NOTHING in the pokemon world makes sense i started ignoring pokemon logic long ago

Reply kuryfurry (Guest), February 25th, 2011, 2:19 pm

the way how it works is that Ditto transforms into that same how it did with my Empolion,"Bubbles".

Reply Luxbot, February 26th, 2011, 7:00 am

@kury Except instead of a Manaphy Egg, it turns into a Phione Egg. I think it's transforming as well, and then it lays an egg, but with the base evolution. Ex: Ditto+Torterra=Turtwig Egg

EDIT: It also loses it's transformation and turns back into a ditto. I'm not sure if you lose the ditto or not, I've never had any pokemon breed.

Reply Maowe, February 28th, 2011, 11:35 am

i think that yall mean the fact that ditto and manaphy mating and they are genderless and yet they have a egg...yeah it is complicated to find out the wonders to pokemon

Reply KP Shadow (Guest), February 28th, 2011, 7:24 pm

One possible explanation is less that they're genderless, and more that their sex cannot be identified.

i know huh.

Reply HeartlessMasterZach, March 14th, 2011, 11:54 am

i think i have found the answer in pokemon leaf green the pokedex entry for ditto says "capable of copying an openent's genetic code to instantly transform itself into a duplicate of the enemy" maybe it uses that to lay an egg

And im wondering if maybe i can try my hand at making a comic, i have a lot of ideas i wanna try out
