*CANNIBAL I spelled cannibal wrong. xP

Ah well~

A Grass-type eating a piece of grass?! (leaf) The other Grass-types are horrified, like that Chikorita.
But really, what else are they going to eat? Sure they can Photosynthesize, but then why does the Anime show them eating? O_o

...Because plants aren't animals and Bulbasaur isn't a plant exactly?

That is a good question. Love the comic.

Ever heard of ivy? It's a vine-like plant that survives by stealing nutrients from other plants, or something like that. Some people say that when ivy entirely covers a dead tree, it means the ivy strangled the tree.

In other words, Chikorita really SHOULD shut up.

It's the same reason why wood elf don't eat plant....because they're MEAT EATERS!!

On a similar note I've always wondered where people in the Pokemon world get there meat from. Are there animals other than Pokemon that are used for food, or do people just eat the Pokemon?

Pokemon eat other Pokemon, I think. Pretty sure it says that in the Japanese version of the anime somewhere.
