They're getting old... Gold and Silver are now refreshed, but that means Red and the Kanto gang are getting old now. If there aren't remakes of FireRed/LeafGreen or HeartGold/SoulSilver (which are already remakes already, so this is pointless) or Red/Blue don't make a cameo in future games...

THIS WILL BE THE FINAL APPEARANCE OF KANTO AND IT'S CHARACTERS (except for cameos, like Prof. Oak in Sinnoh).

Later, Kanto...

How do you know? Nintendo always have tricks up their sleeves.

Reply LenaFox, March 15th, 2010, 6:05 pm

I still think they should make a game with all regions...

Thats what they should do for the fifth generation...That could make it the longest pokemon game ever!!!!

But yeah,Their growing up...*sniff* It felt like just yesterday i'd start my journey in kanto all over...

I think that we are all forgetting the fact that--excluding "Star Fox"--ALL of Nintendo's main franchise's have no true CONTINUITY. Not Mario, Zelda, or even Pokemon. Ash has been in the anime for 10+ years, and he's STILL perpetually 10 years old.

They're damn immortal. D:c

That would be a bad idea.

One, the game would explode because of too much information, so they'd have to cut every region down like they did in GSC.

Two, Nintendo wouldn't do that because that wouldn't work for money.

Think about it. Nintendo could sell you 5 games, each from a different generation, for $35 each. (I'm going on Canadian money, not American.) Their other option is to make a fat game of 5 regions in one game, which would sell for a little more due to the high content.

However, 5 games x $35 = $175, and one game, unless it was about $200, doesn't come near the profit made from the seperate 5 games (and there's a lot more for hardcore players who buy every version). If you packed that all into one game, and you made it a bit more expensive, the 5 games will sell for more. If you bought that game once, you'd never ever have to buy a Pokemon game again.

But what about Sapphire and Ruby and Emerald? Those will probably be remade too.
